I looked on many sites to find an inexpensive rug that I could put over a large, nice oriental rug in a high traffic area--one that's pattern did not clash with the pattern of the larger rug. I found this one on Amazon, and it seemed perfect. When it arrived, however, there was a defect: a long green thread that ran through part of the beige center. Amazon, as usual, made the return and replacement easy (apart from having to re-package a bulky rug). And the replacement rug arrived promptly, quicker than the original one. But I was not happy at all to find that there is a four or five inch soiled area on the outer border and a flaw in the weaving running several inches down. Luckily, that flaw is still the same color as the area around it. I feel like two defective rugs out of two delivered is unacceptable for any company.UPDATE: I have changed my rating to four stars instead of two because I was very impressed that this company reached out to me immediately and resolved all my issues with this product.What a beautiful rug! Great quality, nice thickness and sturdy backing. And can I just say how much I appreciate the care the Seller took to package it? Instead of folding the crap out of the rug, it arrived wrapped neatly in heavy duty plastic around a cardboard core. I was able to put it directly on my floor without having those annoying "folds" to work out and walk over. I would definitely order from this Seller again.Beautiful area rug. The colors in this rug can blend with just about any decore. I have it in my bedroom and enjoy the low pile. It's easy to maintain and doesn't hold on to debris, nor emit a lot of dust. I've gotten lots of complements because it adds so much harmony to the room. It did not have any lingering chemical smells right out of the box. It does like to walk somewhat even with a base under it and haven't figured out how to keep it in place and still be able to pick it up and air it out on my porch railing. Any suggestions?I ordered this for my 89 yr old mother who slips getting out of bed on her hard wood floors. The backing is very good, and nonslip. colors were exactly as shown. She loves it.I needed a runner to replace a nasty old fringed rug in the hallway off our garage. I like the size and color of this rug. I also bought a 4x6 version for the adjacent entryway. Just be aware they are very flat and are not plush in any way, and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5. If a thick, plush pile is important, you might think about picking another option. It doesn’t matter to me because other rugs constantly snagged and bunched up when we tried opening the front door. I am happy with this purchase.I needed a rug to put under my table. This one was perfect. It looks good with the floor and goes well with the wallpaperI put it over a narrow piece of tile floor in the kitchen area area and it works great doesn't doesn't slip and it's easy to cleanIt is placed under my coffee table over laminate. Looks great and is a good deal for the price.Great price and product. Still a few wrinkles but not laid out for even a week yet.Perfect for me.
