I've had this rug for over a month now and really like the quality of the stitching. I however have had to wash it twice now because of it being soiled once by my dog and another time by a guest visiting and washed it according to the instructions and now the rubber underneath is ripping off. I did exactly as the care instructions said. The first time I washed it I noticed the rubber was bubbling and this second time it just completely ripped. I really like the rug and bought it because of how easy it said it was to clean but can't give it 5stars because it really wasn't that easy and now my rug is damaged.Purchased these rugs in Jan/Feb for use in our new home mid February. They have been used now for about 6 months and washed 2x during that same time period. These rugs do not last. The backing on the rugs is not glued down, but merely sewn on the edges. The backing has warped, torn in the wash (I am assuming the water gets stuck between the backing and the rug. The rugs DO wash well and come out as bright as ever. Before the backing tore, they stayed in place wonderfully and looked amazing. At this time, I must replace my rugs with something better and longer lasting. These are in a high traffic area and I had hoped they would last 12-18 months. We have a high efficiency front loader, with no agitator and use mild/natural detergents. Just overall disappointed at how long they have lasted. For a family of 3 people and 2 pets, I was expecting much longer.Updated: 11/5/16By October the 3x5 rug's rubber backing is COMPLETELY gone. The other rugs are starting to lose theirs. These rugs are a great price and would be better suited to a low traffic area. Our kitchen is a high traffic area as it is where we do a lot of gatherings, homework, meals and lots of cooking for out of the home. The color does stay true, and they do wash well. The backing is not glued on, just merely sewn on the edges so the water penetrates the rug and busts the backing during washing. If they would make a thicker backing, or glue the current backing down, the rugs would last a LOT longer.Very nice rug! I LOVE the rubber backing - it stays in place on my kitchen floor. It is good quality although a bit thinner in person than it looks in the photos but I knew this wasn't going to be luxury item so I'm not disappointed. I'm considering ordering a second one to have as a back-up in case this color combo is discontinued, but I'm going to wait and see how it holds up in the wash first. I wash my kitchen rug constantly so hopefully it'll last a while. I'll update the review after a couple of washings.UPDATE: I've machine washed this rug about 6 times (air dried it) and the rubber backing is peeling off in large pieces. I don't expect the rubber to last another wash. Also, the fabric is starting to pill up. I'm disappointed with the quality. If you plan on washing this rug regularly I'd recommend getting a different rug.This rug is true to the picture and is really cute. I like the rubber backing so that it doesn't slip all over my kitchen floor. But it does get dirty fast! I tried cleaning it with a washcloth like it states, but it wouldn't take any of the stains out. I had to put it in my washing machine to clean it, it came out great and so clean! But the rubber back did get a tiny hole in it. You can't see the hole, so it's not a big deal, but if I have to wash it in the machine every month or two, it will probably get worn out fast. Not a bad rug for the price and it is cute, but it is just so light of colors that it gets dirty, too quick.Love these! They look great in my kitchen the cream is a little more tan which I read in other reviews and I am very pleased with that. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I haven't needed to wash them and something else I read was they don't hold up well in the wash. I haven't tested that myself and will edit review once I do.I absolutely love this rug! Excellent quality and no missing loops or bare spots. I love that it doesn't have that fabric binding on the edges that look cheap, it's very nice serged with coordinating yarn. The rubberized backing isn't cheap either. Does a great job of holding the rug down without making it too heavy. I unrolled it and within 3 hours all the packaging wrinkles were gone (totally common to have wrinkles but I promise they will relax). The colors are vibrant and it's just perfect for my 3 year old to run his trucks and trains over. I am very pleased with my purchase and will be purchasing more!I have a very dark house because of the lack of windows and when I bought this rug and put it down it lightened up the whole room so much. All I had to do is running over it with the vacuum a few times real quick and it was ready to use it and looked beautiful. My family loves it my kids love rolling around on it and my husband has yet to complain which is amazing. I would recommend this to anybody in a heartbeat especially for the price it doesn't get better than that. Now I'm going to go sit and do laundry on it, have a good day.If looking go ahead and choose this rug.For the price:The size is spot-one;Stitching and quality is top-notch;Colors are true and quite rich.I got this for my walk-in closet just because I thought a rug would add a little warmth. Now I am already plotting for bigger-than-usual bathroom mats.This is a great way to accessorize a little differently than the crowd. The quality is so good I feel sure my purchase will be with me for a long time.Very exuberant over this and I do Amazon about 18x a month.
